Hearing about the virtues of Ayurvedic ingredients, one would think that one needs to develop a habit of consuming them today.

Rahul Dogra says, ‘A daily diet should include foods that taste sweet, sour, salty, pungent, salty and grainy – at least one of these six. In Ayurveda, it is mainly used to relieve stress, anxiety, and fatigue. Besides, its leaves help in preventing body swelling pain or rheumatoid arthritis. Ashwagandha also helps to increase sperm count in men.

* Amalaki: Amalaki is also famous for its powerful antioxidant properties, along with many other benefits. Dr. “It simultaneously acts as a digestive tonic, colon cleanser, and removes excess heat from the body,” says Dogra. Amalaki is a great source of natural vitamin C and calcium. It also has anti-aging properties. Amla oil helps prevent dandruff.

* Turmeric: It is now known as one of the most popular ‘superfoods’ in the world. The reason is its special immunity. It pairs well with viruses, bacteria, and fungi to build immunity. Its use in skin treatment, liver purification, and prevention of diabetes is recognized worldwide. Apart from being used as a spice, turmeric can be added to the menu in various ways – turmeric tea, and turmeric milk.

* Ghee: Good news for those who eat ghee for flavor, ghee actually helps lower cholesterol in the body.

* Tulsi: In Ayurveda, Tulsi, ginger, and cardamom are boiled together to treat sore throat, headache, and some skin diseases. Regular consumption of tulsi leaves improves blood purity, lowers blood sugar, and boosts immunity.
