Winter is a season that brings some changes in our life. There are positive changes as well as negative changes.

In this report, some negative changes in lifestyle are highlighted.

* Not exercising: Exercise reduces problems like stress, depression, and anxiety. Exercise is important during winter as mental health deteriorates. Not only mental health but also physical health is improved by exercise. Regular exercise keeps the body fit and reduces the risk of various diseases. But winter can put anyone off exercise. Therefore, the tendency for mental and physical problems increases in winter. Health experts recommend 30 minutes of exercise five days a week. You can do yoga along with exercise.

* Staying indoors: The cold winter weather prompts people to stay indoors. During this time, the trend of internet browsing and watching videos while lying under the blanket increased. Mental problems like depression increase in winter. Studies have shown that the duration of stay at home increases with increasing depression. But braving the cold weather and getting outside feels good. Sun should be applied at a certain time even in winter. Sunshine improves mood and produces vitamin D, which reduces depression. Not only sunbathing but going outside even in foggy weather has a positive effect on the mind. If you go outside regularly from the beginning of winter, the body will gradually adapt to the cold weather and mental problems will be under control.

* Not using sunscreen: While many people focus on using sunscreen in summer, they become indifferent in winter. It is believed that the skin will not suffer much in winter. But the winter sun can also cause brown spots and skin cancer.

* Oversleeping: It doesn’t take research to know that people tend to sleep more in winter, just by observing the people around them. But to find out whether extra sleep in winter is good or bad, a study has shown that extra sleep in winter does more harm than good. According to a research report published in the journal Sleep, excessive sleep increases the risk of depression. Some studies suggest that sleeping more than 8 hours per night may increase the risk of stroke, obesity, and type 2 diabetes.

* Bathing in hot water for a long time: In winter, many people bathe in hot water for a long time, which is not good for the skin. Bathing in too hot water dries the skin quickly. Dry skin causes itching and discomfort. If the dryness increases, the skin will crack. So, to avoid skin damage in winter, bathe in lukewarm water, not too hot. After bathing, wipe the body lightly with a towel and apply moisturizer immediately.
